Shopping Malls
In the fast changing world of retail, spaces need to evolve, adapt and be kept fresh if they are to appeal to the sophisticated shopper. New finishes, lighting and amenities can freshen a space without disrupting business or incurring a large expense.
We have extensive experience creating and renovating appealing, inviting malls and retail spaces. (1)

Retail clothing store
This venerable Boston area Men's Store had a great location, but a big problem. The original design was very uninviting, with a blank exterior, few windows, a small entrance and small stair that made a visit to the 2nd floor very unappealing.
With a modest addition, we completely changed the character of the store. Now bright, open and inviting, the eye-catching, clean and modern design establishes a visual connection between the interior and exterior and provides multiple opportunities to showcase the store's wares. (1)

Ferry Terminal
To better serve the thousands of tourists and regulars that enjoy visiting Martha's Vineyard in the summer, and new Ferry Terminal was needed.
The challenges were to take the design from concept to complete construction drawings in 4 weeks; to design it to withstand hurricane force winds and punishing rains; and to get it built in the off season, the dead of winter. (2)
